Question Of The Day - Wednesday, April 7th!

Good morning! It's raining cats and dogs today, which brings me right into today's Question Of The Day....


Do you carry an umbrella when it rains? What color is it?


I have several umbrellas....the obligatory black one, a purple one, and my favorite.....a tiny fold-up purse sized one that's leopard print.

Not really because if i go out with the girls for dinner were straight in a taxi to where ever were going, and i never take one shopping with me because i wouldn't be able to hold it.

I have one though which is black with a pink kitty on

I do, I have quite the collection (something I just realised while typing out the colours)

I have several black ones, a large golf type, two small purse ones and a regular one
A yellow and blue one with cat patterns
A purple and beige check pattern
A Hello Kitty one
A blue plastic one
One like this that is black on the outside and a cloud pattern on the inside

I have a couple I keep in the office and car too

Not since my college years when it was a necessity to get across campus without looking like a drowned rat.

There is aways a small black one in the pouch behind the seats in our car. In the trunk there is a large on which is aqua with purple print flowers.

I like to walk in the rain but usually just wear a hooded slicker---I very rarely carry an umbrella. I had one I loved with a design of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' all over it. DD lost it.

I have the obligatory black one that I keep in the car in case of a bad down pour. I rarely use it.

I also have an oversized one with a tropical print on it. That one is used when we're outside with the dogs in the rain.

Mine is zebra print. I don't know if I have ever used it since I bought it last year. The farthest I usually go is to the car.

I walk several blocks from my car in the parking garage to my work building so I have to have one when it rains. Its boring black though

Na i dont really but i do have an umberella that is shaped like a duck

I'm very rarely out in the rain, so nope. No umbrella.

I have a leopard print one and one with cats and dogs on it. I think I had another one I would have to check the coat closet. I carry a disposable one in the truck. I tell you once you take it out of its small package it will never be that size again!
But like yesterday with the rain I carry a raincoat to work with me. Sometimes though I leave in the truck which means a fast dash to my vehicle at times.

We have four umbrellas. DH and I each have a large golf-type umbrella that we use to walk when it's raining.....I love walking in the rain.

I have a beautiful black umbrella with lots of kitty faces on it. I also have the matching scarf for that.

DH has an adorable Taz (Tazmanian Devil) umbrella that he loves; he's a big Taz fan. I tucked it into his Christmas stocking one year and he adores that thing.

I have about a 10 minute car-to-office walk at work, so an umbrella is a necessity. I keep a big golf umbrella in my car. When it is raining or the forecast calls for rain, I carry it with me. I also keep a small fold-up umbrella in my backpack for times when I get caught without my big one. Both of those are black. I saw an umbrella in Whales and Friends with kittens on it that I've been thinking about getting. I imagine that would make me stand out walking around here.

I've got a small one that has cats on it but I very seldom remember to carry it with me.

For people who never use an umbrella, we have quite the collection. Of course, we aquired it because they seem to be popular corporate gifts at "analysts days" and meetings and stuff.

We have

Two large Harris Corp. umbrellas (large and blue with their name on it)
An Agco umbrella (fold up, blue with their name on it)
Another Harrs Corp. umbrella (small fold up - same blue with their name on it)
An Ametek Umbrella - you guessed it - blue with...
A couple others, I don't remember what they are.
And a pink fold up umbrella Gary's mom left behind when she was here.

They're all in the car.

I have a really nice huge green one, that I haven't used in probably 20 years. Umbrellas annoy me -- I just can't be bothered.
