Hi all, Windy and warm here already. Felt good to have my coffee on the front porch.

I might go out to Medina to a fabric store. They have some nice primative material. I like to keep it in stock for some little thing I might want to make.

Grandkids off bus later. Maybe some storms.

Weight watchers dinners for dinner tonight. DH has lost 20 lbs, me, I don't know how much.

Calling the vet if I'm still awake, catching some Zzz's (graveyard shift) washin some dishes, probably take the dog for a walk, play with madison, get an oil change, sit with maybelle outside and oh if theres time left make dinner and get in some good ol fashioned Mario for NES.

well, thats the goals anyway, I'll probably end up going outside with the dog, playing with the cats and rockin out the nintendo and forget dinner.

at least I have goals right?

Going with hubby to friends house this morning. She cuts his hair and he gives her fish he catches in exchange. Later, I have some business to do at the bank. Probably some light housework. Tonight is our church night, so we will be going there this evening. Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone.

We're getting a new fridge today!
The one we have now is old and ugly but still works fine, but our landlords (who are also my aunt and uncle
) decided to replace it for us. Can't wait!

The meeting for Ca-r-ma (Cat Rescue Maritimes) went very well last night. The trapping will start in about a weeks time and of course Dana and I vollenteered to be foster parents to both kittens and semi-feral cats. The really feral cats will of course be released after spay/neuter. We're also planning out 1st "Walk for Cats" in June and Dana and I will be in charge of the adoption tent. SO EXCITED!

Again we'll be listening to the Seadogs hockey playoff game tonight on the radio. They won last night 6-0 WOOT! If they win tonight they'll be on to round 3 in the playoffs.

Hello all!!

Still trying to really wake up though I've been out of bed since 6 am. Bender was a super bad bed hog last night and my right big toe was still throbbing from when my neighbpr's Newfie stepped on it Mon nite. So I moved into the other bedroom and couldn't fall asleep.
I wonder if that hour plus nap I took at 4:30 pm (with Bobber) had anything to do with the sleep???

Anyhow working today from 10-4 and trying to do some odd picking up and stuff around the house until I hop in the shower in a few minutes.

We got about 1.1 inches of rain yesterday which we really needed. Overcast and back to seasonal temps for the next couple of days.

Tonite after I get home perhaps work on repainting some of the patio tables and watching TV. Not too exciting!

Morning!

A beautiful sunny day today. Mid-to-upper 80s. I came into work early and walked my 3 miles before changing into my work clothes. It's hard to walk over lunch when it's that warm and humid outside....I end up feeling grungey and yucky the rest of the afternoon. This morning, it was still only in the mid-50s, so that was a much nicer walk. I'll walk another 3 miles with DH tonight when we get home from work. I'm averaging about 6 miles a day now since the weather got so nice.

Kailie, where do you keep your fosters? In a separate room of your house, away from your furkids? Or do you let them all mingle? And does it bother your furkids when there are new babies coming and going? Or are they used to new faces? My hat goes off to you for all the work that you do for cats and kittens.

Not sure about dinner tonight....I took two small boneless, skinless chicken breasts out of the freezer for chicken "whatever". Meaning whatever I feel like making when the times comes. Probably on the grill, I'm thinking at this point. With salad.

And that's it from here.

Have a good hump day!

Morning,

I'm back at work after a day off, so this is like my second Monday of the week.
We're going to be shipping a big load of equipment out on Friday, so we've got to get it ready. We'll be disassembling everything today. Right now, I'm just waiting for the digital camera to charge so that I can take pictures of everything first. Once I have a good set of pics, I'll be spending most of the day with various wrenches and screwdrivers taking everything apart. I don't mind really since it makes the day go by quickly.

After work, I plan to stop by the gym for a while, then head home. I still haven't gotten my packages with my new video games, so with luck they'll be waiting for me when I get home. If so, I imagine they'll occupy my evening.

Thank you sweetie!
I have a "foster room" where I keep my fosters. I don't let them mingle with my kitties usually because a lot of the times they come sick, so I need to protect my own babies. The foster room is great. There is a cat tree and everything set up in there. My kitties are SO used to new kitties going in and out. Sometimes if I've had a foster for awhile and they have a clean bill of health I'll let them out to meet my babies. The only one who usually doesn't like that is Cleo II, but she has "cattitude".
A lot of times some of the cats, especially Azizi, will sit outside of the foster room and "comfort" the fosters inside. It's quite sweet actually.

Oh my! It's going to hit 90 today. First time since the 20's for this date. DS and I took a walk earlier when it was just breaking 70's. I knew it would be too hot this afternoon. I am looking forward to spring returning in a few days. We have had the a/c on for 3 days now. Just crazy.

DH is back to work and I am enjoying my time alone
I love him but I so missed my schedule. Just doing some laundry today. Lucky is enjoying the quiet while cuddled on my lap.

Enjoy your Wednesday.

Morning.

Sunny as usual, and supposed to go up to 77 today, which is nice. It does get really hot in the apartment in the late afternoon though, being on the 10th floor facing west. Oh well, I'd rather that then have it be cold.

Doing more laundry today, and I'll get in more Wii Fit, I did a good workout yesterday which was long overdue since I was away for 5 days.. Um.. I need to drop off a package at FedEx, and I don't think I have any other plans really for the day. I will figure out something.

Have a good day everyone!!

Well I am not a happy camper right now, it is already 80 degrees in my home and past that outside, could possibly get near 90 today, yuck. The news person said last night that it would feel like August today and they were right. I have the a/c on right now, it was getting way too warm in here. As most of you know by now, I am not a summer person and getting this hot in April is just terrible. Good news is that by the end of the week we are supposed to get back into the 40's, now that's more like it. I hope they are right, no need for this heat so early.

Talking about separating new kitty's, do you keep Mollipop in a separate room when you and Rick are at work or is she ok among the rest of the Rugcats. Hope they are getting along a little better now.

My apologies....I did see this, but then forgot about it. Major brain fart.

Yeah, we're keeping Mollipop in the computer room when we're at work. God, remember how things were between BooBoo and Pumpkin? I don't want a repeat of that! It took months!

Other than when we're at work, though, she has the run of the house. She's batting the other cats around and, other than a return swat every once in a while, they're doing very well with the "abuse". She wants to play; that's all it is. They're going to have to put her in her place, though, and that's why I think they swat at her sometimes. It's their way of saying, "Hey woman, you're out of control now! Calm thyself!"

She and Amber are playing now, which I think is good because Amber was such a recluse. She's out and about now a lot more often and she looks for Mollipop when Molli is hiding somewhere. Mollipop likes to jump out at her and then they both take off for parts unknown in the house for a few minutes before they come flying back out.
