Hello from Massachusetts

Good afternoon - I stumbled across this site while looking for information on dealing with a cat related problem/situation I have - but I will post more about that in a separate thread.

I am the proud "Mama" of four fur-babies:

Naomi - spayed female, about 8, taken in as an abandoned 4 month old. Black Japanese Bobtail

Tigger - neutered male, about 7, taken in from a good friend when she moved cross country. He already knew his name of I would have changed it to follow the naming convention of my others

Jericho - neutered male, about 9, taken in from another resident in my complex who was going into Hopsice and could not face the idea of taking this cat to the pound. His former owner had him declawed in the front.

David - male, best estimate 8-10, lured into my house about a week ago after being fed by me for the better part of a year.

I finally have a few moments and thought I would show off my "kids"

Naomi - found as an abandoned kitten of about four months old. She is now the undisputed Queen of the House. We think she is part Japanese Bobtail as she has only a small bunny puff on her backside instead of a tail

Tigger - He was taken in as a kitten by a good friend where he was living with his feral mother behind their work dumpster. He was not well socialized when he first came to live with us but he is our non stop kitty. H loves to race up and down the stairs and usually only touches two or three on his way down.

Jericho - I took him in after his owner who lived in my complex had to go into hospice. He was front declawed as a kitten by the former owner and is still traumatized by that - when you touch his back paws to clip his nails his wails sound as though I am trying to skin him alive with a dull knife.

David - The last time I handled this new addition to the household I took the opportunity to clip his claws and take a few pictures. I didn't realize until I saw the photos how scared he looked.

Awwww, sweet kittys! It was lovely of you to take in the cats that needed a home. How is David adjusting?
