Morning peeps!

Its going to be another nice day out today! Only 14 degrees but its better than -14

Off to work in a bit, and then more studying tonight

DH doesn't have classes this week so I will likely make dinner tonight.

You all have a good one!

We had a lot of rain showers this morning, but it's to clear out and we're to hit the mid-80s by the end of the afternoon. In fact, the sun is trying to peek out now.

Our daffodils are out and both of our weeping cherries are blooming; the pink one is especially beautiful this year. I love spring because of all the flowering trees and shrubs, and the beautiful spring flowers.

As for dinner, I haven't a clue. We had leftovers last night from Easter and I'm not doing that again. Since we had meat last night (we normally have meatless Mondays), maybe I'll just throw something together with pasta, beans, and lots of fresh veggies.

Have a good Tuesday.

Morning all!

We have a Ca-r-ma (Cat Rescue Maritimes) meeting this evening and trapping will start soon, so I'm really looking forward to it. I'm pretty upset today though because one of my foster kittens, Bill, has developed a really bad URI...blah.
(I'll post more in the health section.)

Tonight we'll also be listening to the Seadogs hockey game on the radio! They're in round 2 of the playoffs and are already ahead 2-0, woot!

Rain and storms here today (and rain the rest of the week). I am back to work after my 4 day weekend that went way too fast.

Good morning,

Today the weather is kind of grey, but looking like it wants to get sunny.

I'm at school now and procrastinating. I planned on spending the whole day writing part of my thesis, but so far things are moving very slowly. I wrote about one paragraph of the introduction and I just want to stop. But I'm supposed to go see a movie with a friend at 7:30, so I'm kind of stuck here until then.

You are a writing god!
Just keep finishing those paragraphs and you'll get it done. I had several periods of a week or more when I didn't write a word. Just keep at it and you'll get there.

As for me, this is my scheduled day off. The weather is beautiful today -- 75 and sunny -- so I'll probably sit outside and read for a while. I have to pick up some cat food and groceries this afternoon. Other than that, I won't be doing much. I ordered a couple of games and I'm hoping they'll arrive today. If so, I imagine that will occupy the rest of my evening.

Morning...

I forgot to mention yesterday that while on the plane from Tampa to Dallas, the pilot announced that to the right we could see the space shuttle Discovery launching! We were sitting on the right so we saw it, it was pretty cool! I never saw a shuttle launch in real life before.

And now back to today.. uh, doing laundry so far. I need to get some groceries and things, and not much exciting planned for the day. Spend a half hour or so on Wii Fit doing hula hoops or something sweaty. Other than that, maybe look at house listings, since I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that our counter counter offer won't be accepted and we're not going to go any higher for that one.

Oh I know what I want to do- find out what I can do with shells, I picked up a bunch of shells in St. Pete Beach on Easter, and I'd like to do something with them other than shove them in a drawer.
Yes, that will be a project.

So have a good day everyone!

I miss spring weather. It's 85 now and probably close to 90 with the heat index.

DS had his one year appointment and shots. None of us were happy. Our doctor was late arriving then blamed it on an emergency case in the office. Which happens but NO ONE warned us that our appt would be late. DS was 2 hours past his nap by the time she saw us. She forgot what we discussed last night which led to a fight with her and DH. We haven't been happy with this place since we started but it's the first time we were so ticked off. We need a doctor who is open on the weekends anyway. It's a perfect time to switch.

Molly is off for her monthly depo shots. I really should just schedule them before a holiday knowing the shots wear off by then.

Hopefully tonight will be uneventful and quiet with tons of sleep for all of us.

Afternoon all!

Worked 5:45 am under about 2:15 pm then stopped at a vendors greenhouse to drop off man. many plant pots. Made more butter today. Several months again the co-owner and I discussed making some flavored butters for sale. I have been making a sweet-honey butter and a savoury-parmesan herb butter. They are very successfull!! However that means have have to make larger and larger quantities and we have these small containers to fill so its takes lots of time and hard to do when you also have to wait on customers.

Anyhow its raining and hopefully a t-storm soon this afternoon-we have a warmer than normal and dry spring so this is welcome. I have a huge pile of garden debris/branches-stuff that I cannot chip or compost to burn-hopefully this weekend.

A salad and something else for dinner tonite I have a couple of hours to think about that.
