Right now? I don't know. There's not much going on this time of year that would make me want to travel. Now, if it were summer I would want to travel through the Scandinavian countries and Europe catching as many metal festivals as I could. Maybe drag friends along as I travel through their countries.

Sadly, my only interest in traveling is to see certain bands perform and see some friends.
I don't swim or do tourist-y type things.

The nearest thing to a vacation anytime soon is that I hope to go to Dallas in June to see Seikima II play since I can't afford to go to Japan.

I would love to go to England and tour the Yorkshire area. Stop at a few pubs and have a pint.....I don't drink, but it still would be fun.

See some ruins of old castles, the stone fences that hold in the sheep. Tour some beautiful homes. Then go to the ocean and watch the wild Atlantic.

Never happen, hate to fly and not thrilled about ships.

Ireland. No contest.

Like farleyv, though, I'm not flying. And I'm not particularly fond of ships either. Those are my only two options, so home I stay.

Scotland! I've been thinking alot about Scotland lately. I just heard from a friend of mine over there, and his brother and a buddy are coming over and stopping in NYC - I'm meeting them for a beer. And, at the NY Mets Opening Day game yesterday, out of all the people in that stadium, my friend and I were sitting next to a guy from Scotland! His first baseball game. Listening to him talk made me long for Scotland.

Well, does the UK count as 1 place? I would love to see both Scotland and Ireland. I'm another one of those who doesn't care for planes or ships, so I guess I'd have to walk.
That reminds me of an old movie, but I can't think of the title! A fellow was telling how he'd walked across the English Channel---"take a step, come up for air, take another step, come up for air; took a devilishly long time."

I am not much of a traveler. However I have always wanted to go to Graceland to tour Elvis' home.

Somewhere sunny and hot enough for swimming. I'd go for an all-expenses paid week in the Bahamas! Always wanted to go to the Caribbean for a vacation.

I would go back to Provincetown, MASS. i spent time there as a teenager and fell in love with everything about it. I would wake up early in the morning and go to Atlantic shore to watch the sun come up from the ocean. The small shops and narrow brick streets made it feel like I was in another country. I wanted to live in a lighthouse and write poetry and paint!! Then I grew up and met reality.

Hmm I've been thinking about this for a while and I think I would love to spend a week in Cape May, NJ. It would be a great get-a-way and it really is beautiful there from what I've seen from pictures, always wanted to visit.
