Shall we have another kitten?

Mirza Nur is now 3 months and 10 days old,an adorable playful fluffy Persian kitten we absolutely love.Last week we've been given a chance to expand our family by adopting either a Siamese kitten(3 months old)or a Persian Chinchilla kitten(2 months old)but we don't want to upset Mirza in any way and have territorial issues or behavioral problems or the newcomer to feel threatened. How can we make them feel at ease with each other and be friends?Would the Persian kitten be a better choice?

Unlike people, cats don't realise what breed they are, some are more docile or energetic which could make a difference with older cats, but kittens rarely have a problem with having someone to play with.

There are lots of articles and threads about introducing cats to each other on here

Pick the kitten that you want.

Introductions at their ages should be easy breezy - make sure you have your camera handy!

Pick the kitten you want.
I have 3 sphynx with my furry cats.
Coco my 18 year old cat is half siamese.
Her mom was a seal point siamese and she was the only kitten left because she did not look siamese.
My other cats come from a Russian Blue mom but only one looks RB.
Breed does not matter pick the kitten you want.
All my cats get along except my 9 month old sphynx hates the new sphynx kitten who is 5 months old.
Is there anyway you can get both kittens?
8 weeks is to young to get a kitten though.
They should be at least 12 weeks old.
The kittens should get along great since they are close in age.
Just intruduce them slow.
Let one stay in the carrier.

Young kittens usually bond pretty quick. Expect some hissing at each other and chasing, but in a short time (a week or two) they should get along good. Some important things to remember:

1. Trim all nails.
2. Be sure the kittens are neutered/spayed by 4 months old if not already done - if you get opposite sex, they can breed as early as 4 months old.

Depends on how much time you have to groom 2 long hair kittens/cats - you would have to comb them every day. Don't use a brush - its won't do anything for a long hair coat. Personally I only have short hair cats - can't stand all the grooming of a long hair cat of any kind!
