I hope you guys remember me. I rescued Fluffy from a bad trap in a bad snow storm over 2 months ago. Well my computer broke down and it took until today to get it back!!! Well anyway, Fluffy got fatter and fatter and more and more nervous. Well,,,,, I am happy to report that she is tiny now, yesterday, Good Friday of all days, she gave birth to 4 big fat babbies!! She is the best mommy! she is like a mamma bird, she is draging clothes and making a nest for them. she has not moved them, she is no longer nervous and she lets us look at the babbies. I am not going to touch them though for a while. im a Grandma!!!! The mews are so sweet!!
I made a great friend in the SPCA she is the rescue and adoption lady. she is gonna pick them all up after they are weened and do what she needs to and then get them good homes. gonna be hard but so worth it!
How have you all been?

Yes, they are soooo wonderful!! I love the little mew sounds! I am so shocked and pleased that Fluffy has totally calmed down and she trusts us. As for pics, I dont own a camera yet, and it will be a long time anyway cause I am not going near the babbies till they come out on their own, I dont want to upset Mamma. she has kept them in the same place and I want that to remain.
when they start coming out I will buy a camera and take pics.

Actually, it's pretty important that you handle the kittens from a young age. It won't hurt them, and it will help socialize them later.

The mommy is feral and sorta skidish, a lot less since she had the babbies, but they are only 3 days old and I am afraid if I disturb them in any way she will take and hide them like most mommies do when they feel their babbies are in danger. They are fine and so is Mommy. I will pick them up but not right away. I want to make sure Fluffy feels safe. And I dont want her to hide them. They are in a great place where I can look in but not get too close.

Awwww, there really is nothing in this world more precious than kittens. Very glad all is well with Fluffy and her babies!

Aw, congrats! My feral mom tamed right down and I could handle them right away. Of course, mine were inside where she could not hide them.

Enjoy them! At about 4 weeks they start with the playing and funny, clumsy running! I used to lay on the floor with them and was covered in kittens. It was close to a religious experience!! Pure joy!
