hello

as i have said before i am canadian but currently in america for about six months

I left my cat behinhd who is a barn/farm cat rescue that i got as a kitten. She lived in a very harsh cold area and was taught by her mother how to hunt. But i turned her into a house cat and got very attached to her. She is currently living at my parents shop shes got a whole apartment to herself there and gets attention from the customers.

My parents who like the cat but they dont really have much experience with cats but they feed her once a day and change her cat litter

The plan was to have her shipped out here but now my mom says its a stupid idea and that my cat is happy living there and brings home a rat every day at the shop. my mom and dad insists my cat is happy and refuses to ship her out!

I am not sure why this is bothering me so much i guess i just miss her a lot and am really lonely here.

Oh, I know you must REALLY miss your baby!!!!! I don't know what to tell you. I guess I wouldn't want to stress the cat out by having it shipped to you. That's a big adventure for a ex-barn cat....

Sounds like maybe your parents are kinda attached to your kitty, too?

Aw, I'm sorry you miss your kitty so much. But you know she is well taken care of, it would upset her very much to be brought to you for such a short time. All that traveling, and strangeness. If you were here permanently it would be different, but she won't forget you and she is much happier staying put until you come home.

Do you have any friends, where you are now, with pets?

Would doing some short term fostering be an option, so you have kitty love in your life for the time you are here?

Otto made a great suggestion - short term fostering. If your housing arrangement doesn't allow that volunteer in a local shelter cattery to pet, groom and play with their kitties. Often when a volunteer if interacting with a cat - that cat appears very adoptable to shelter patrons who are watching. You could get your cat fix and do a good deed at the same time.
