The Eight Most Fattening Easter Candies

There are one or two surprises in that list. I guess I won't have to worry - I just went to fill the Easter basket for tomorrow, and found that half the stash was gone. I hardly think Jamie or Miezi got into the chocolate and disposed of the wrappers, which leaves DH!

Peeps. I'd pester my mom to buy me the hot pink ones ...Also the bunny-shaped ones http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg They were addictive. I won't touch them now.

I'd search high and low every Easter for a white chocolate hollow bunny (I thought it was a "vanilla" bunny

I ate so many things on that list as a youngster. That entire list is pretty horrid for the bloodstream and organs (in my humble opinion!)

It's surprising that coconut cream eggs aren't on the list. None of the stores in this area carry them, so I usually make my own. I was too lazy this year, and substituted Bounty minis.

I only bought enough to fix the grandkids baskets. Usually I put green grass on the dining room table and decorate with jelly beans and candy eggs. Then I end up eating it all myself. So I didn't go there this year.

Umm yea I love all of these, but most of all Reese's peanut butter eggs..
With the jelly beans and peeps, I can usually hold off and stop after 1 serving...but with the rest, not so much.

Yep, not surpising... Easter candy may be bad but it's so good!

BF and I are in Tampa Florida right now (he had a work trip and I tagged along) and I brought along a 4 pack of Cadbury Cream Eggs that I bought maybe 2 weeks ago. I can't believed they lasted all this time! MMMM!

My SIL had family Easter yesterday since DH is flying out to CA today. She gave us an Easter basket filled with:

2 Peeps
Reese's Peanut Butter cup
Jelly beans
and a Cadbury creme egg.

4 out of the 8. I think my glucose levels must have been bad yesterday.

Thanks Goodness we don't have those... Passover is bad enough for diets. No low-cal breads, only the dreaded Matzot.

I saw an article in yesterday's paper where they say the Isreali Arabs are big consumers of Matzot. I guess they really like it.
