Any opinion on this stroller and site?

YIKES. Wrong forum. Mods, please move this to care/grooming. Or I can delete and start another in the appropriate place.

Any reviews on this particular stroller? I've been unable to find much about it. Not even on Amazon. I don't know if it's a new product and thus the lack of reviews. Or if it's a continued item that was never popular.

Secondly has anyone purchased from this site? The price is much lower than other sites, suspiciously so.

I have a vet visit for my two girls in a couple of weeks and there's no way I can carry them in the plastic carrier anymore. Even carrying one of the to the vet (10 minutes away) in the carrier is a pain.

For a stroller in general, perhaps but compared to other sites for the same brand, this site's price is great.

I've seen strollers for under $60 but I worry about the sturdiness of the material and the wheels. I do not want something that starts falling apart after a few runs. Also I need a stroller that can hold up two 10lbs cats and give them enough wiggle room.

I hear a lot about these: Pet gear Happy Trails They do have them on Amazon, and they have great reviews, but this site I gave is cheaper - I know people who have bought from them, and are very happy; I'll PM you the blog with the review - it is actually quite funny... They call it FUV Feline Utility Vehicle
But Kitty and Daddy both love it, and they bought it from referral.

Anyways, it is a good $20 cheaper that the version you put there too... But it holds less weight - 30lbs. So, it is a give and take.

Off to PM you

There you go, if there is the case, that is a great deal! I hear lots of good things about it... People seem to like that stroller a lot!

Seems a little high on the price to me (and I really don't like the color ). I've seen some use them at cat shows, but honestly don't know how much they cost.

IMO I'd just get 2 medium size carriers and not ride two cats in one carrier. Jack is about 11 lbs and his carrier is fine. No way could I carry two cats in the same carrier and would not get a large carrier to ride two.

I guess that depends on how strong the OP is. But you have a very good point - plan for what you can physically handle.

The last time I took all three kittens to the vet together in one carrier I regretted it - 10.2lbs + 6.5lbs + 5.5lbs = bad for my back.

I see a woman walking her elderly cat in one like that and it looks fairly sturdy, not sure if its the same brand, I will ask her next time I see her. I know she bought two cheaper ones before the one she has currently and one the cat could unzip from the inside and the other broke easily so I would buy one I could physically see if I was buying one

Pet Gear is one of the top brands for pet strollers. I have two of theirs, one that converts into a carrier (it's now too small for my cats) and the Happy Trails one. If you can find a good price I'd go with the AT3 over the Sportster, it seems to always get the best reviews and it's a bit roomier, with better wheels.
You can find more info on different strollers here:

Having the stroller has made thing much easier, especially now that all my cats are 10+ pounds except little Harley.

I bought my cat show cage from All Pet Furniture, because as you said they had the best price (and free shipping). I had no problems with them at all. Actually I'm thinking of buying a bike basket from them, because again they have the best price.

I'll address everyone in this post. First, thanks everyone.

Second, I'm not sure if I made it clear but I do not drive so I walk and carry my cats to the vet. And I'm not the strongest person out there at 5'3. But carrying one cat in my cheap but sturdy and slightly unwieldy plastic carrier is already a back breaker. The last time I carried both of them together, they were just ending kittenhood and the combined 18 lbs or so nearly killed me. If you understood me and suggest walking with two carriers anyway--you're stronger than I

The Pet Gear Happy Trails was my original choice and yes it generally gets good reviews. But I read a few reviews that made me think that I should consider moving up one level. The cover/flap for the HT was reported to be not as sturdy and reliable. Some cats had been able to get out. Also read that the stroller wasn't that great for slightly energetic walks and the wheels weren't very quiet and smooth. Thus I started looking at the Sportster which apparently has higher grade wheels and materials overall.

Lastly, would love the AT3 but aside from the price, I'm worried about its size. I live in a small apartment and wouldn't have storage space for it. It would basically sit in my living room which already houses the enormous cat tree. I thought and hope the Sportser would be a good compromise between the HT and AT3 in quality, price and storage size.

And good to hear all furniture is a legitimate site!

That is the same one the woman I see walking has, hers is a blue colour through

She said it is definitely her favourite of the three she has tried, even ignoring the issues she had with the other two strollers. There are a few reviews on overstock.com, all positive.

Her cat is fairly big but I can't see fitting another cat in there with him - it would depend how big your cats are and how well they get along in a small area. One of the reviews on overstock mentions carrying 2 pomeranians in it though

Being one who bought a monster kitty walk since it was rated nearly 30 lbs I can say test them out .... Had I the descision would have been a smaller more stroller style less cage like....I sold the monster one to a much taller friend( I am 5 2 ) ... I think the metal frame alone weighed 20 lbs

Awesome group, I've learnt alot the last of couple of days. The sportster gets very good reviews and some group members confirm that the HT is solid but for brisk walkers, the Sportster is better and of of course the AT3 is the best.

About the site, AllPetFurniture.com I recently ordered a cat tree from them and just got it today! Everything is in the box and we are putting it together as I type this.

I bought the tree on sale with free shipping and it got here in exactly 1 week from placing the order. This website gets an approved star from me. Like everything though do some price check before you purchase. I bought this tree from them because it was the cheapest there and had free shipping at the time!

UPS just delivered! So excited. One of kitties was freaked out by the delivery and box. Hopefully, she'll like the stroller...Will report soon.

That's the best part! Your kitties not only get a new stroller, they get a box to play in!

Well, I've had the sportster for about 6 days now and have taken a handful of strolls. Time for a review and so far, so great!

First the size, the Sportster very comfortably seats both my adult cats (10-11 lbs each). I was pleasantly surprised by how long and high the carriage is. A cat can lay stretched out from front to the back as well sit up without touching the roof. There's a lot of head space. Only the width is not as impressive. It makes sense, no one wants to push a double-wide stroller around...If needed, both cats can sit or lay side by side, but it's a snug fit.

I was also impressed by the high quality of the material. The mesh, the cover and structure of the stroller are rock solid. My one tiny concern are the wheels which roll very nicely but they're plastic so I'm not sure what happens should they get knocked up or go square. Do I buy replacements from Pet Gear. I ride bikes so I'd be more comfortable with wheels that came with tubes that can be inflated, patched or replaced.

I'm on the short side and the stroller is the perfect height for me. I can see where the handle may be a bit too short for taller people. Overall the stroller rolls very well and easily. The front wheel when it's unlocked, allows for great maneuverability. This comes in handy for tight spaces like my apartment. When the front wheel is locked, you can walk at a much brisker pace. Having said that, even unlocked, I can walk at a pretty good clip.

Lastly, I didn't have to do much coaxing to get my cats into the stroller. They were in it the minute I set it up. I left it out for a day before our first stroll and they just hung out in it. They still like to use it for sleeping and relaxation. I'm not quite sure if they really LIKE it. The stroll causes a lot of excitement but right now, the cats don't rush into the stroller either when I'm ready to go. Maybe it's a matter of time for them to associate going out with getting into the stroller.
