Head Jumping anyone?

So Chester has developed a pattern of jumping on my head in the middle of the night. He will start at the end of the bed, walk up next to my head then climb over, positioned just to be sure his long lustrous black fur tickles my face. Then he will jump off only to jump back on 5 minutes later right on my head.

Anyone else have a similar occurrence??

Aww...Chester so loves his mama!

I have one of those head walkers too, Tolly likes to walk on my head. Baby (1/98 ) always slept on my head, but Tolly, like your Chester, just walks on my head and face before curling up in my arms.

I love my big fluffy guy! He is a big drooler too. In the morning when I make the slightest movement he is immediately on my back or chest purring his loudest and drooling all over me. Our bed is his favorite place for attention. I always call him my little (not so little) love muffin!

Moose will occasionally ambush me by flying out of nowhere and land on my head, claws out. He used to do it more frequently, but fortunately has tapered off.

Stinkpot sleeps on my head, and starts out the same way you describe, walking up and kind of draping himself across my neck, then falls back and wraps himself around my head. But, luckily, he doesn't pounce up there (unless I just haven't noticed because I've been so deeply asleep - dont think that's possible).

But he is a back jumper. He loves jumping on my back while I'm doing dishes. He's trying for my shoulders, but sometimes misses. If I hear him about to jump up (he usually signals with 3 quick pants) then I will bend over to give him a landing spot and then as I straighten up he'll walk on up to my shoulders. But if not, he sometimes digs into my back and boy does that hurt

If I bend over to pick something up, Moose is right up on my back, then onto my head. He doesn't do it as often as he used to (thank goodness), but I have to keep an eye out for him so I don't get sliced and diced!
