Hi my name is Katrine and am owned by Anastasia (1.5 years old). I joined this site to talk with fellow cat lovers, even though I can be a bit busy sometimes. I also think I know another member on this forum, but I don't know her username yet

Anastasia is the sweetest girl. She doesn't like to be cuddled with and may run away from you if you reach out to her, but she's very well behaved and kind. Never scratches or bites hard. She scratches the scratching posts only and some rugs. I also taught her how to roll over on command.

She does want to cuddle sometimes, but on her own terms. She'll make a sort of sqeak and start kneading on me. She always kneads when she wants to be petted. My girl LOVES to play (also has a fascination about water) and is very talkative. She follows me around too. I love love love her

Last week I found out she has some serious health problems (and because of the antibiotics and the need to change her food she's now constipated as well), but I hope she'll be fine eventually. I'm in close touch with the vet's office.

I also help out at an animals shelter with cats only. They will also take in a few bunnies this summer. I'm quite addicted to going there.

Welcome! My "kids" Rocky, Moose and Lucy say hello. It's exciting for me to "meet" someone from Norway, as I am of Norwegian descent.
Anastasia's personality sounds a lot like Lucy. Lucy wants loving on her own terms, when she's ready.
I hope Anastasia feels better soon!

There are several stickies at the top of the New Cats on the Block forum. All About TCS Member Titles & Perks
 tells you when you can start using things like avatars and signatures. Mostly it's a matter of being a member of TCS for a specified length of time and having a minimum number of posts. Of course, if you join as a paying member most of the restrictions go away.

Katrine, I missed part of your first post, the part about Anastasia being ill. I am very sorry to hear it, and hope you will start a thread sharing the details with us, (that is if you want to.) I am very fond of her Royal Highness and hungry for details of her!

Hi, Katrine! Anastasia is, indeed, gorgeous! Those pics of her made me gasp! Beautiful girl - and I hope she's feeling better soon.

Welcome to TCS! I'm of Norwegian descent myself! As my mom in Minnesota always says, "solid Norwegian" - both sides of the family...hehe. One of my grandfathers came from Voss. I'm not exactly sure where the rest came from.

I am of Norwegian descent on my mother's side, from the Toten region. I would love to visit Norway someday. It is so beautiful in pictures!!

The nature is quite nice, but I live in the capital (Oslo). There are some nice things here too though, buildings and a well known park for example Many associate Norway with solstice and mountains. Solstice seems just as strange to me as it does to most people aborad, lol.
