Today's is not a surprising one:

Do you play April Fools jokes?
If so can you share some stories so we all can get a laugh?

Can't say I ever have, though I'll occasionally play pranks on my DH other times. At this moment I'm having problems remembering them.

I did consider unplugging his hard drive, but that would make him panic. Maybe I'll just unplug some peripherals.

I don't play pranks on others, but I've had some pulled on me.

Many years ago, right after I had gotten a new car, my dad called me early one morning.

"Pam, what the hell happened to your car??"

"Nothing....why? Dad? Dad!"

I hung up the phone on him, ran down three stories (lived in an apartment at the time), got outside, and checked my car out from top to bottom. There wasn't anything wrong. Got back in the apartment and called my dad.

"Dad, what's going on?"

"April Fool!"

Grrrrrrr

I am not a big prank puller either, nor do I like them that much. Although I did tell my husband one day I was pregnant. We had a 9 month boy at the time so he got a little crazy for a moment.

No. I have not been able to think of any prank that would outdo the one I pulled on my parents back in 1957.

Mom went to the hospital with labor pains and was getting ready for my appearance when the contractions stopped - at 5 minutes apart.

I'm not really an April Fool prankster, though I've cooperated/facilitated a couple of times. One that was particular fun was when I was working for the Dean of Students at a college. He had a good relationship with the students, and was a wonderful target for April Fools jokes. While one particular student was there, he could be assured of an April Fool joke every year, and one year, a few students under her direction, and with my cooperation (giving them access to his office) filled his office with balloons. I mean floor to ceiling, crammed in as tight as they would go.

He was usually in a little after 8 in the morning, but he didn't do any work until almost noon that day, what with first of all leaving the scene of the crime intact, so later arrivals could have their laugh, and then getting all the balloons out.

He also told of one that he was caught by several times: honey on the toilet seat. He laughed at himself well.

Lol, I don't really do any pranks mostly because I'm just lazy to think of anything

But when I was a kid my parents always lied to me that they had bought me a present on April Fools and I'd get sooo upset when I find out it's a joke

I got up early one April Fools morning and woke my husband up with, "OMG, Chet, get up! We got a ton of snow last night, you'll be late for work."
He jumped out of bed, looked out the window, and said, "OMG!!!" Got dressed real quick, put on his coat, and went outside. Curious, I got up and looked out the window....sure enough, it had snowed a ton during the night. April fool on me!

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Well, I didn't even realize it was April 1st today!
Haven't done the April Fool's thing for ages. Used to do things to my sister and brother. The only one I remember is putting sugar in the salt shaker and short-sheeting the beds. Kinda lame - but I was 6 or 7.
