I've enjoyed the previous seasons of Dances with the Stars because it if fun to watch people grow and improve on the show. I also know how challenging it is to try to learn ballroom since DH and I have been doing lessons for a few years.

But I'm disappointed this year with one of the producers' choices. Nicole Scherzinger is way too good for the show. I heard that she minored in dance and to get two 10 scores in the second week is ridiculous. This is going to be a boring season if she is going to dominate every week. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue watching.

What are the rest of you DWTS fans thinking about this season?

Nicole Scherzinger is good but she still needs viewers to vote for her. I bet you'll hear some judges say "Nicole you're not dancing to your potential" or something like that. At some point. What else can they say to her?

I like Evan Lysacek and the soap opera guy. I wanted Shannen Doherty to go far
but she did a Denise Richards on us. Kate Gosselin please leave. And soon.

My problem is not with Nicole but with Buzz Aldrich. He can barely walk, let alone dance, had the lowest scores and yet he made it thru last night. Now that's just ridiculous. We all know it's not how good a dancer you are but how many fans you have, same with American Idol. I remember when Cloris Leachman was on, she lasted way longer than she should have and started to make a complete fool of herself, I used to like her a lot, I don't anymore.

American Idol has the worst group this year than I have ever seen or heard.

Any season is worth watching - as long as Maks performs.

That said, it was a shock to see Shannen voted out - but it at least gives Mark Ballas a chance to fully recover. (He was going to let his dad do the training then do the actual dance if they had continued.)

Buzz may not be light on his feet but he is waaaaaaaaaaay better than Kate Gosselin (poor Tony Dovolani) and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Master P.

Nope, won't be watching - again.

I, too, enjoyed watching people progress. The last couple of seasons had people that already had some sort of training prior to the show.

What happened to the emphasis on the charities?

Along with what I said previously, and that the dancing became too sensual - in clothes and in dance - it was no longer for Family viewing, so not interested any more.

I'm watching, I like Evan Lysacek a lot (don't care for his partner at all though) so I'm pretty much just watching to see how he does. Can not stand Kate Gosselin! Who on earth voted for her?!! Ugg! I wish they'd give Tony someone that he could go far with, it seems like he's always leaving early on.

I lost interest in the show last season and have only seen about 5 minutes of this season. I'm waiting for So You Think You Can Dance, I like that one better.

I feel the same way. Last season I didn't like Mya because I thought SHE was too good, and for Nicole to be on there is just crazy...Kelly Osbourne was my favorite last season.
Although I am hoping that despite the 10s Nicole is getting people aren't voting for her...
I know that's mean because of all the work she puts into it regardless, but I just dont' want to watch pros, I want to watch people learn and improve.
