OMG! I was at Target and saw them. Actually, saw them, bought them, and ate them.
I was so bad.....but they are so good! Both of them, the chocolate creme and the caramel.

You were all talking about them over Christmas last year and I couldn't find them anywhere.

So to whoever started the Tim Tams thread, I owe you big time! (Just what I need, yet another addiction) Thanks!

Exactly what are tim tams, I had never heard of them until someone mentioned them on here. I know they must be some type of candy but just what exactly are they??

LaRussa, TimTams are chocolate bicuits similar to Penguin biscuits in the UK if you have ever had those?

and if you get some, you have to try the Tim Tam Slam: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam_Slam
Boy those sure look good, they remind me of Twix bars. Twix is a biscuit type thing also and no I never had Penguin biscuits either. If I ever see tim tams around here, I will have to try them. The tim tam slam sure looks like fun
Thanks for the info.

Mmmmmmm...Sarahp sent me the chocolate mint Tim Tams for Secret Santa last year. Seriously sooooooo much better than the other flavors, LOL!

Peppermint and honeycomb are the best.

I don't like the original or caramel, my favourite had runny strawberry sauce in the middle but they were limited time for valentines a few years ago.

Well, being something of a chocolate snob, I always gravitate to the plainest of the dark chocolate offerings, and TimTams are no exception. The Classical Dark are very habit forming.

The only two flavors I found were the dark chocolate (dear heavens) and the caramel.

Not really like a Twix bar. LaRussa, if you get a chance to try them, do so. I don't think you'll be sorry. I found them at Target; they're by Pepperidge Farms. (And we were at a PF outlet right around the time everybody was talking about them over the holidays and couldn't find them there.)

Equally guilty.

I don't go to Target much but when I get there again, I will look for them.

Really? I have a reason to go to WalMart now! I saw them once in a supermarket here, but have never found them again.
