My cat sleeps with me on my bed every night, I can't do anything about it, because I love it too I love to cuddle him when he is sleeping like a dead cat!

No, my cats let me sleep on their bed.
Oh yes, I can't sleep at night unless there is a warm, purring critter named Bella sleeping next to me. She is big and squishy and makes a wonderful pillow.

I wish I could, but with 8 cats who are like a herd of elephants at night, I would never get ANY sleep if I let them in the bedroom.

Yup, Larry jumps up and lies down on the other pillow as soon as I turn off the light. Then he puts his paw out to make sure he's touching my arm.

LOL! that's about it isn't it?

Tolly sleeps in my arms, Mazy sleeps at the back of my neck and Jennie sleeps in the crook of my legs.

Yep, although they don't always let each other sleep on the bed, Bumper and Quincy are forever pushing each other off the edge

Moose sleeps with me every night. I believe Lucy would too, but the bed (with me in it) is Moose's terrority.

That's pretty much the way it is around here, too. It's their bed; they allow us to sleep with them. We sleep with all six cats, including Mollipop now, too. She sleeps between DH and me, mostly in my arms, but if she gets too warm, she'll moved over toward DH more.

BooBoo likes to sleep in the nook of DH's knees. But if DH moves too much during the night, Boo will hiss at him for disturbing his sleep. It's hilarious.

What usually happens is that the cats will clump together between us. Then, as they get warmer, they'll start to stretch out a bit....sideways. We end up on the very edges of the bed with the cats stretched out between us. They're comfortable; we're trying to figure out a way not to fall out of bed. But it works. I guess. For them, anyway.

Maggie sleeps with me 99% of the time, when she doesn't Jazz will sleep with me. Most days when I wake up they are both in the bed with me .

Yes, but they don't start out there. Both of my girls begin their sleeping in their own beds in our bedroom or in some other place in the house. At some point in time during the night or morning one or both will weasel their way onto the bed and snuggle up. I love it, but DH's not a big fan of it!

They are most welcome to sleep with us. Since we live in the desert, they usually don't choose to sleep with us in the summer (too hot), but in the winter, they're usually there, and Stinkpot likes to sleep on my head. (secretly, I'm kind of glad they don't want to be in the bed in summer...it gets hot enough without wearing a fur hat to bed!!)

I usually have 4 or 5 piled on or around me, rarely all six. It used to be that Goldy and Miss Patchwillow would never be on the bed at the same time. All of a sudden about a week ago they started sleeping together. Since that happened Shareena isn't sleeping with me (us) any more. I don't think it's any specific cat, just one too many cats on the bed for her.

Mine all sleep in the bed, under the covers. I wake up sweating a lot especially in summer
post #17 of 60
Rosie's to the left of me at the top, Sophie on the right near the bottom, and Jack squashes himself against my side like this. I took this when the lights were out and he was zonked out!

All seven of them... I don't really have a choice. I did push a large ceder chest up against my side of the bed and put pillows on it in an attempt to give them more room - Sherman and Blaan often use it because it's right beside me.

Yup, that sounds about right. Holland usually starts out under the covers with me, but by the time she wakes me up she's near my head pathetically mewing, because she's starving to death, of course.

That's pretty much how it is here too. We bought a new mattress, and now they aren't sharing as well as they used to. We get even less room!

well, i took the door off of my bedroom... & in my experience, that's the only way to prevent it [assuming you would WANT to]. anyway, i usually have anywhere from 2-5 sleeping with me.

I usually share with five - Cinders and Milo sleep in the bathroom and Bonaparte on the bedroom windowsill, though he sometimes goes onto the desk chair and occasionally on the bed. Dushka and Persil get under the duvet and the others have their allocated spots on top of the bed. Sometimes there is a fight and Ellie wants Persil's place, or vice versa. Dushka never gets pushed off - she only has to growl if disturbed and the others leave her well alone.

No Dh won't allow it. If Lucky would behave he wouldn't mind. Lucky insists on sleeping on his head. She purrs, then Miss tortitude proceeds to swat him. sometimes with her claws out .

Sorry that made me giggle

My usual bed buddies are Tex, Prowler, Jakie and Ghost. If I am sleeping on my stomach or back... they want that V between my legs, if I am on my side they are pressed up against me on either side. Either way I am usually pinned under the covers.

Archie sleeps nearby...and if I wake up he will jump on the bed to check on me and sometimes lay down on the pillow.

Rex is too scared I think... by my snoring.

Casper is separated from the other cats so he is not on the bed, though I think if he were an only cat in a different home, you bet he'd be on the bed!!

I cant sleep without my tubby butt Fatman in bed. He ALWAYS makes me uncomfortable but I cant sleep without him in bed. He usually is on my side up by my head but if Herc comes into bed my face is his spot and noone can take it so Fatman either goes down to my feet, in between BF and me or onto BFs side to snuggle. GiGi ALWAYS sleeps at her daddys feet she has done that since we got her. Herc has been sleeping with us more and more lately. I couldnt sleep last night and got up to eat some cookies and had Herc at my face, Fatman at my feet and GiGi between me and BF...Ahhhh kitty bliss!

Mine loves sleeping next to me,put her head on a pillow just like a human, she likes the fan too!
Well, sometimes there's room for Gary and I.....

Maia totally sleeps with me! Her favorite place is either under the covers between my legs or behind my knees when I am napping or same place on top. If I move she jumps up, waits for me to settle in, and curls back up! Of course she also lets me know when I should wake up....

That's about the size of it. Usually Swanie will start out draped on my feet or legs and Cindy is on the other side next to DH. Eventually they both end up cuddled together at the foot of the bed on my side. If I happen to get up in the middle of the night, or closer to morning, they're usually off by then but Swanie will come in, jump up by my head, purr awhile, then start digging on the blanket trying to burrow. I usually help him, and he cuddles up next to me. We both enjoy that!
