My little affenpinscher Munchie has cancer. She is terminal with less than six months to live. Right now she's still bright eyed, eating and eliminating normally and wanting to play sometimes. She has good days and bad days, right now more good than bad still (thank the gods). She's such a funny girl I'm just so sad that she's so sick. She's almost 11 and had a rough start in life. She was "ordered" along with her housemate from Missouri, she had to stay at the breeder for several months because of summer flight restrictions, she was bred three times the last time she had eclampsia and had some brain damage from it so she snaps at the air when she's stressed.
I got her when she was 3. Her owner was having to relocate and could only have one dog so this lady was getting rid of all the other pets, 2 affens, a flat coated retriever and a cavalier king charles spaniel. I got Munchie for 45 dollars at her yard sale (silly me and sillier her). I was a complete stranger and she let me take Munchie with me after only about 1/2 hour of talking.
Munchie has had a wonderful home with me, she used to go everywhere with me, but as her health declined she just didn't enjoy it as much. She was the only female pet in our house for a long time so she's our princess and she knows it.
For now, the vet said she's not hurting so we are keeping her happy and spoiled and loved until she lets us know when it's time to cross the bridge.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.
It must be so tough... Sending vibes Munchie's way.
