This weather is crazy. It's been so nice outside. Our average temperature for this time of year is about 9c and Friday is supposed to be 27 and feel like 32. Thats more like July/August weather not April. I think I am going to have to take my puppy for a nice long walk on Friday.

Anyone else having nice weather like this?

Weather liar said the temp here today was 17°C. All I know is a LOT of snow melted and finally the water broke through the drifts in a couple of places. My poor pasture is roughly an acre and a half of water, and half an acre of snow and mud. The horses are still inside, and I have a 'tri-coloured' cat - he WAS blue and white, but now he is blue, white and mudstained - his paws are a nasty brownish black. I dont know what to call his son, a brown tabby and white with mudstained white feet...unclean?? disgusting??LOL

It was rather warm today, and is supposed to get up to 86F (30C) Wednesday - that means it will probably be closer to 88-89F.

We just had snow...the 20th?

This is Oklahoma, though, and known for weird weather switches (and extreme storms). Right now the problem is the other thing the state is known for, wind. It's always bad in March.

Actually we had pouring rain all day yesterday. I hope it will be nice today. You can see the signs of spring though. Flowers are blooming and trees are budding out everywhere. Come on, I am ready.

We've got sunshine... and warmer temperatures!

Hope to be able to open the door so the kitties can enjoy the view through the screen door.

Right now we're in the lower to mid-40s with gusty winds and it's to start raining again pretty much any minute now.

However, by Sunday, we're to have sunny skies and be in the high 70s to low 80s! We're thinking about setting up the dinner table outside on the deck because it's to be so lovely here. (Unless our local weatherweenie has changed his mind....again)

The weather here is windy and heavy rain. It should clear up by tomorrow and then it's sunny and going into the higher temps and around 70's by the weekend. I read my last book so really wanted to get to the library today but don't want to get soaked. I'll see if it slows down later.

By the way Happy Passover to our friends who celebrate it.

I'm just up the road from you so yes I'm enjoying lovey weather too.

I paid my golf membersip for this season yesterday and found out the golf course opened last week and folks are out golfing. I expect to be out there next week myself. This is the first time I've ever actually belonged to a golf club so I'm excited. This Easter weekend is supposed to be spectacular as far as weather goes.

It is sunny and in the low 70s today, is supposed to be in the low 80s this weekend. Not too many Marines are going on leave for Easter, but they have 4 days off, so it should be a wild weekend here.

You might see my DH out this weekend! He's hankering to get out on the course and I can't say I blame him, it's been such lovely weather here too. I've been trying to restrain myself from planting too much in case the weather turns nasty again. The cats are loving going for walks again. They like to chomp the fresh grass and lolligag around, rolling in the dirt and tearing up the catnip, which I'm beginning to think must be the most resilient plant around!

Well today was fairly nice...or at least it didn't rain

Yesterday though it was either pouring or hailing. I was soaked through by the time I was done feeding the calves in domes.

Hey, you're not that far from me now so you and DH should come by and he can be my guest at the golf course and you can keep us company and drive the cart.
