No one has mentioned this here, but WM offers unlimited cell phone sevice (with unlimited texts & internet) for only $45 a month. There is also a $30 plan with 1000 texts, 1000 minutes, and 30mgs of 'data.' It's called "Straight Talk" and it is through the big companies like Verison and AT&T (depends on model of phone you buy).

You just buy one of the phones, and the service card. There are NO other fees, at ALL. You have to buy a new card every month and the minutes do not roll over. That is it.

2 of my family members have this, and I just got it for myself. So far I LOVE it. Only drawbacks are that the internet is very basic, can't get aol mail, no java, no youtube, almost everything else works though!

My aunt has that. She loves it! My husband and I are thinking of switching to it after our Sprint contract is up. Right now we have 2000 anytime minutes and 300 text messages per phone for around 96 (after tax) no Internet. It will cost about the same but will have everything unlimited... definitely worth it!!

wow, that's not bad! I have a Tracfone which works for me but lately I've been using it more often so the minutes are starting to get low. I'll check this out, thanks for posting!

I use a Tracfone. It has the double minutes for life feature. I always find a code for bonus minutes when I add time or minutes. I like it better than any cell phone. I don't do text messaging, to it works wonderful for me.

I love this service since T-Mobile screwed me and my credit! I was there when one of the reps was there and mentioned that it is on the Verizon network. That sold me right there. I bought the $100 phone and it won't go on FB or Yahoo. The 2 that I mostly go on. Eventually, I'll pick up their smartphone.

I sound like a StraightTalk rep.

It really is $45 per month though, no fees at all. Even if you get the $30 1000 mins with 1000 texts... say you use up your minutes, you don't get a bill (they don't even have your name or address) you just can't use the phone until you buy another card.

It's actually through the tracfone company.

LOL! I actually switched because of a huge cell phone bill....
You live in Canada, don't you? Not sure if they have it there... I think it's only through Walmarts.

I have the same phone. I can get on FB, haven't tried Yahoo. For FB you have to go ot "account" then "settings" then "mobile" and go through the process of verifying your phone. I had the same issue before I figured it out, lol. It may be similar with Yahoo.

What is WM? It sounds nice and my cell phone contract has been over so I'd love to look into it.

Yeah, my bill was $89ish

I don't think its available here, WM sells phones on plans for all of the major companies but nothing of their own.

I did but their service cuts out at the highway just north of me so I would be roaming a lot even in my own city, they have already increased it some though so hopefully by the time my contract is up later this year, the service will be further

There was also so many customers complaining about their service when they first came out
