Eww I ingested mould...

I was cleaning out the hummingbird feeder today which had mold in it, and once I was done I cleaned my hands REALLY well because I was about to put some leftover cookie dough in the oven.

I dried my hands, did my cookies, and licked my hands clean of all the mold. DH washed his hands soon after, and commented that his hands smelled funny...

I looked at the hand towel and realised it had mold all over the other side We must have used it earlier in the week, then put it aside, and when we finished our kitchen renovations on Friday hung the hand towel in the kitchen, but I guess the mold grew in that time.

Tonight I've had a bit of an upset tummy, and I think I know why!

Ewwww! I can understand that happening, we just get so busy with other things!

About a month ago, I accidently ate some stuffing mix that was over 2 years old!

Who knows, if we both live to be 110 we may have found the secret!

I've had the opposite problem this weekend. I kept smelling mold when there wasn't any. I almost wasted a perfectly good batch of waffles that way (until my boyfriend told me they tasted fine). I think something in the fridge might be moldy and it sticks in my nose.

Ewwwww I hate the taste of mold!! I'm quite paranoid about moldy food and refuse to just "cut off the moldy bits" of anything.
I hope you're feeling better Sarah. That's a lesson learned - always let the cats lick your cookie dough fingers instead!

And waste good cookie dough!??!! My belly is still a little "tender" this morning, but not too bad. Hopefully the baby doesn't mind mould.
