Well I had fun trying to herd cats this weekend! I took the cats (my four youngest who are littermates-- Harlequin, Spot, Blaze and Mr Grey) to get their photos taken Saturday. My vet has these photo days every few months where a pet photographer comes in and takes photos for a good rate. I already got Church and Roxy's photos taken last year and my dog's as well but I wanted to get my four younger cats photos.
I really wanted to get a photo of all four cats together. Of course the cats had other ideas... The photographer wanted to try having them all in a basket. Unfortunately the basket was a bit small, especially with 14-pounder Spot! They had no idea what the point of this was and just wanted to explore, or go hide. We had toys to get their attention but they weren't very interested. I kept having to chase them down and put them back in the basket, and then try to actually get them all look to at the camera at once... Except for Harlequin! I put Harley in the basket and she just stayed there and looked at the camera when she was supposed to... Next we tried putting the cats on this little couch the photographer has to see if that might work better. Again, the boys kept trying to make a break for it while Harley sat and looked pretty... I tried splitting them up to make it easier but it really wasn't. While we were trying to get Blaze and Mr Grey to pose, I put Harley on the little couch which was now off to the side, and she just made herself comfortable and stayed there the whole time. Finally I wanted to get a few shots of Harley alone so we put her back on the backdrop, and she just posed like a model, of course. I got a lot of good shots of Harley but in most of the group shots at least one cat was looking away. I ended up ordering two photos of the four cats together, one of Spot and Harley, and one of just Harley. I might order some more photos later though. I have to wait a few weeks for them to come in but when they do I will make sure to post them.

Here is a photo I took of Harley waiting on the side on the little couch.
She just stayed there the whole time while the others were getting photos taken!

Now that couch is awesome, it would make a great cat bed... if they would even use it, lol.
Yeah it is pretty cute. I had them take Church's photo on it when he had his done:
