Excerpt from Could You Love Me Like My Cat

A friends sent me this really whimsical book today in the mail. The author is Beth Fowler. I thought I would share some of it here:

*Could you vibrate all over whenever I hold you close?

*Could you concentrate so hard on what I am saying that sometimes my eyes get crossed?

*Could you forgive me if I accidently lock you out and you have to sleep under the car?

*Could you be graceful under pressure and always land on your feet?

*Could you walk away from your mistakes?

*Could you show interest in my daily by trying to shove your head in my shoes?

*Could you be supportive of my work by staying on top of what I am doing?

*Could you announce its spring by gagging and choking up hairballs?

*Could you let me put a bell on you so I always know where you are?

*Could you mark me as one of your own?



The book has cute illustrations and it just reminds you how really loving and giving cats are, even the snooty ones.
