Hi from Maryland!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to just about everything: Internet forums and cats. Yesterday I brought home a 2 year old grey striped tabby named Inky. His former owner is getting up in years and has too many animals and was looking for a home for him. We also have a 5 year old Beagle named Mac. Mac likes cats very much and he just recently lost his buddy, my old dog, Tess. We wanted to get him a companion for during the day. Inky is still hiding right now though, even though he does come out occasionally (if only to find a new hiding place).

Hi there and welcome to TCS! Oh yes, in time no doubt Inky will settle right in to his new home.

I love beagles as well. My aunt and uncle who live next door have 2 of them who we puppysit when they go away and I just ADORE them!

Welcome to you and Inky!!!! If you are new to the cat-world then this is the place to come to with any questions about your baby. Good luck and enjoy your new furball. It was a wonderful thing you did helping out your elderly friend by adopting Inky!!! You have a lot of wonderful memories to make with the baby
