Good morning my dear friends…

Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge…
I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it…
of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!..
… so lets begin…

Now that is in "Fashion" the social nets as hi5, FB & Twitter,
I was thinking something very creepy!..Paranoid:

SOCIAL NET!
- Would you accept a request of friend in some of those nets at you BOSS?...(I mean from your work)
-Wich one would be the ç
*Advantages
*disavantages
for having at your boss as contac in those places?

( note: I want to be clear that IF you play Farm Ville on FB your boss can see how many times you Harvest & ask for Eastern Eggs at the day!..
...)

...So, start to post here!...

I don't belong to any social networking sites and I don't work outside the home, so no boss. Having said that---no, I wouldn't socialize or network with my boss. If a boss sent a friend request, it could be awkward to not add them as a friend.

I would not have my boss as a Facebook friend. Too awkward. Ditto for coworkers actually, although a lot of people do that. I would have to actally be friends with them first, not just put them on because they asked.

I have two accounts, one for real life and one for work life, because we keep in touch with many people by facebook & our blog at work, so yes my boss is a facebook friend on my work account but not my home account

Many of my colleagues/coworkers are friends IRL. My workplace really is a community in many ways. That said, only the closest of them are friends on FB. However, there wouldn't be anything for anyone to notice about my FB activity during working hours, because I don't do FB at work. I've frustrated more than one person who thought they were communicating with me in a timely fashion by messaging me on FB, not realizing that I was not going to see the message until much too late.

I don't belong to any social nets either. If I did, my boss wouldn't ask to be my friend because he knows how i feel about him

Ok, so I'm in a little bit of a pickle with this.
My current boss I am not friends with on Facebook, however I recently got promoted and will be starting my new position in a week or 2 and THAT boss has been my friend of Facebook for awhile now. I'm a little nervous about it, but I can't really delete him because I think that would be terribly rude.

With my Facebook I only add the co-workers that I am actually friends with and socialize with outside of the workplace. With that said I have added my "boss" before as they were very close friends of mine...

I would never send my boss a request unless I was close with them. In all the cases where my boss ended up on my Facebook it was AFTER they were my boss as well. If my boss requested a friend I would add them but, there is not much going on my Facebook, I post about once a month on the thing.

My ex boss sent me a friends request on FB about a week ago and I'm still trying to decide if I'll accept it. You're right Riguel - I don't want her to know that I'm collecting eggs in FV nor that I want another scuba-cat in Fishville.

I have my team leader at work as a friend on facebook, but I knew him before I ever worked for the company. My boss is on facebook too, but have not added him as a friend. I think he's seen my page before though because we have mutual friends on facebook and mine is not privatized. He's made comments about my pole stuff at work

He'd be able to see when I put status updates if he decided to pay attention - since I have FB on my phone, it probably wouldnt surprise him!

I prefer not to have my current boss OR coworkers as my friends on facebook. I go there to vent sometimes, and may not want them to see or know what I have to say. I also don't like having them know so many personal details about my life. I have no problem having them as my friends after I leave a position, though. I have quite a few past coworkers and/or bosses as my FB friends right now.
