Aww. How could you ever take that sweet kitty's "pillow" away? It looks like you're just going to have to change the channel the old fashioned way or watch whatever happens to be on television now. This same situation happens quite frequently in my house with the exception that the kitty is usually on my lap and the remote control is on the table or by the television where I can't reach it. And, of course, I could never move the cat in order to suit my needs! I have watched many a television program that I'd have preferred not to sit through because I haven't wanted to interrupt the cat's sleep. Ah, such is life when you're owned by cats...
Oh, and, by the way, that foster kitten is adorable! I hope he or she is in his or her loving, forever home now and that you get occasional updates. I'd have never been able to let that baby go!
