The starting point would be anything lower than......

natural balance limited diet wet food at 85 cents for a 3oz can at WestCoastPEt Supply online, but have no idea how much shipping would be.

Any help appreciate, crabbiness not so much.

depends on your area ... and if you are okay with by poducts ( in a wet I am as they are mainly organs vs the high amount of bone in a dry food)... I use Western family which about half of them are grain free ALL are veggie and potato free... 21 oz can is 1.09-1.59 , 35-60 cents for the 5.5 oz

I buy BFF grain free 3oz cans at $0.86 ea. Neko LOVES BFF!!

My local pet store has Evo grain free at 12oz for $1.75 and even cheaper if I buy it by the dozen. Unfortunately, my cats won't eat it. They figure it out even when I sneak just a bit of it in their California Balance wet food.
