Wow, someone created this down by the shore

Someone made this driftwood sculpture on the shore nearby; my husband saw it when he went for a walk yesterday evening. It will be gone soon if it's not already - it will succumb to the wind, the tide, people who destroy...

It's about two meters -six feet- high!




Here's a closeup showing how the person balanced it on the rock.



Pretty amazing thing to do... especially so temporary, so I thought I'd share!

I love that, how beautiful. I would have gone home to get glue and try to save it and then bring it home. Its gorgeous.

What a neat thing to stumble upon while out for a walk.
A few weeks ago DH and I went for a walk in the neighbourhood and came upon this huge igloo someone had made. There was room for both of us to stand up inside! So cool, just sitting in the middle of a field. Of course we didn't have our camera on us.

That was my first thought too! "Where's the wood glue?!"

I love to see stuff like that. It's amazing what someone with a bit of creative thinking can do.

Awesome!! Its was placed in a great place too-it wouldn't have the same effect it it was in someone's yard.

It was gone that night after the tide came in - there were just a couple of pieces of wood left behind.

You should send your pics to the local paper or news station. Whoever made this deserves to have it seen by many.
