Horrible FB post

I refuse to post the link here. A girl in Turkey, I believe, fancies herself a Satanist and took pictures of her murdering and mutilating a cat. It is HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE!!!!! She has a FAN site. Most of the people on there are vilifying her... but yelling, threatening and name calling doesn't do any good.

Anyone know how to track down this sick excuse of a person and report her to authorities?

All that I can think of is reporting it to Facebook. I don't know if there's any way to turn her in to the authorities.

I don't know Turkey's laws concerning animals. But with anything on the internet, if it's given any attention - whether good or bad, it grows. If it's something local you can do something, or if it's major enough to break a country's laws, but mostly you just have to ignore stuff for your own sanity's sake.

Sadly that's pretty much all you can do I think . You could report it to Facebook, but I don't think they will do much other than maybe suspend or remove her account.

Well, unless one wants to break international laws and hack in to get as much info they can on a person and carry out a personal vendetta - but that's crazy.

I looked and looked... there does not seem to be a way to contact FB in any meaningful way. So if someone can clue me in to what I am missing....

I am sure this girl is feeding off the negative attention. I didn't "join" her fans. I just want her stopped.

I did send a post to the internet crimes division of the FBI, but what are they going to do? They are after bigger fish than some sick killing and mutilating animals.

Maybe someone will see it who's an animal lover and send an email to FB about it? (and maybe I can win the lottery tomorrow, too. A lot of maybe's today. )

I don't think much can be done, but you can choose not to look as it's really upsetting you. Just remember that rotten people often get theirs eventually..

Oh, I know what I'd LIKE to do.. but that makes me as bad as her.

OK - I worked a Turkish/English and an Italian/English translator to get to pieces of this story. Sorry I am compulsive and this was REPULSIVE!!

If the posts I translated are correct, there was a terrible uproar in Turkey about the pictures as well as elsewhere around the world. The girl, 15, was arrested by Turkish police. She confessed she did this to the cat... which may have already been dead, possibly hit by a car.

You know, eventhough Turkey is fairly modern and secular by Islamic standards... I cannot imagine the justice system would look kindly on a Satanist. Especially one who mutilates animals and caused such an embarrassing uproar.

Apparently there was more than just this one cat - not surprising. Dogs were also targeted.

I did post on the site and asked those who do speak English to confirm my understanding of things. Boy I hope so....

You can reprt groups like this to face book, i think you have to join first then leave said group/fan page and then it comes up as an option to report it

I have to remind that Satanists do not sacrifice or mutilate animals, Satan worshippers do. Satanism and Satan worshipping are two VERY different things which should not be mixed. It's like mixing christianity to islam. And even the Satan worhippers don't mutilate cats, cats are 'holy' to them.
You can assume from her age that she hasn't got a clue what she is doing or talking about and I just hate that!! It happens way too often with teenagers and they are smearing things they don't know sh*it about. I hope she gets what she deserves..
