Daily Question: Tues. March 23 2010

Good morning...... my question today is a rather easy n' quick one.

How often do you wash your car/truck? ( you or a car wash, or another person..... how often is it washed? )

At least once a month, and hand waxed twice a year.
I love it when people don't even realize my truck is 12 years old.

I try to wash it every month or so during the warmer months. Once it gets really cold though, I'm done. I tried to wash it one time when it was cold outside and the doors froze shut.

I take it to a detailer twice a year for a thorough cleaning, inside and out.

every week I wash my car...the majority of times I pay for someone do it...In order that made it very cheap,...and try at least once per month to wax it...
Of course sometimes I should to make it!...

I would say every 2 months or so, but it gets a quick rinse more often than that if he is working somewhere muddy

Dana gets the car washed about once a month. He'd do it everyday if he had his way.

I can't tell you the last time I washed it.

I've owned my car for about 5 years now and I think I've washed it twice during that time. It rains a lot here.

I never wash my car myself, I stopped doing that years ago. I bring it to the carwash and not very often at that. With all the heavy rain we've been getting, my car is pretty darn clean lol.

Hmm during the warm months atleast once a week or more. I wax with Turtle wax every other month and then in between that I use Ice spray on wax stuff that you just spray and then wipe in. I do all of it myself, I dont trust carwashes to not scrape the paint off the front of my car since it wasnt painted to last forever. It was just done to be all one color till we figured out how we wanted to paint it and could afford to buy the good paint for it. I also drag my car into the garage and sweep it out everytime I wash it and shampoo the carpets and seats when it first starts to get warm and before it gets really cold out so my carpet doesnt get gross from the mud and rocks.....Im pretty anal about keeping my car clean

Our car is old and a piece of junk so we don't really care. I think we might have washed it once last summer, but that could have been the year before.

Sometimes I think the dirt is the only thing holding it together so I'm afraid to wash it now!

DH washes my car several times a week. The roads here are sanded and salted with every snow fall, or if they are icy. DH has a wash bay where he works so it costs us nothing.

Yikes, I guess I'm a bad car owner too I only run mine through the car wash 2-3x a year at most.

Oh, it's been a while. It gets washed maybe once or twice a year.

The sad thing is that we have our own power washer..

Unlike others I don't have to worry about salt: 1) the roads may get salted and sanded twice a winter 2) when they're bad enough to need that a camaro becomes a death trap - so it stays in the garage.
