My cat, Lex

Hi everyone! This is my cat, Lex. He'll be 9 in June. I adopted him from the shelter when he was about 5 months old. I was a student at the time and living by myself. He became the perfect companion.

I first spied him at the shelter in 2001 lying cramped inside a small cage. He was already a massive kitty and he pretty much took up the entire cage. Lex had the most adorable face and I was sold.

He weighs about 19.5lbs now. I love big cats; there is more of them to love.

What a big bed lion! Something about him reminds me of Aslan from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Maybe it's just size.
