Our shelter now has 3 Feline Lukemia positive cats. We are a small shelter and are really not set up for having positive cats. On Saturday we got #3, he is only about a year, but is positive & appears to be feral. The other 2 we have are both super sweet. We will work with the feral cat, but we really need to get these cats home. I am just wondering if anyone has tips on how they find homes for cats with this disease?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

There are a few FeLeuk positive forums/yahoo groups you can appeal to and see if someone will take on another, the majority of the ones we found homes for, people had contacted us saying they were looking for a +ve cat to get their cat a buddy

I find with all special needs cats, writing up their story, giving people an overview of their medical treatment so far and potential costs often means they get adopted sooner. But honestly, I think a lot of them go home with volunteers too
