With Dr. Cathy just a few months away from retiring, she has highly recommended this vet, who has just opened a new "All Cats Veterinary Clinic" only about 14 miles from here. Plus, weekends by appointment and after hours emergency service.

This is a wonderful, welcome addition to the region. We have some good vets, but most of them in this area specialize in livestock type animals. Like when poor Trace had his surgery, it meant two 205 mile round trips to a specialist, and he HATES to travel.

Wow, I'd be glad to have this in our area, and we're a major city!

We have a cat only practise here and I love it, they do housecalls and the vet isn't worried about handling semi-ferals which is great for me, since the vet who dealt with Autumn when she was in the shelter doesnt want to deal with her

That's great news Mike!
The Jellicles deserve to have medical care close at hand!

That sounds great!

My sister-in-law's vet isn't all cats, but they extended their hours to 7 days per week from 7am to 11pm with their usual rates. That sure helps!

We do have an ER vet that is open 24/7 but their rates are double or even triple that of a regular vet.

Unfortunately her vet is way across the city from me, and the one I go to is great! But they are one of the most expensive in the city too.

that's great! Reassuring to know that your tribe will still get good care when Dr Kathy retires.

What great news for you! We're lucky in that our doctors are outstanding and they really care about our furkids (they've even come to our house when we've needed to put a kitty to sleep, so that the kitty doesn't get stressed further).

Glad you got one.. I am not partial as I also have a dog and usually do have more than kitties under my roof... Neither of my main vets have issues with ferals and they also make house calls
