I could show everybody around Victoria and some places around Vancouver Island, B.C. It's very beautiful here, with rainforests and weird sea creatures, Victorian houses, falcons and eagles, and lots and lots of flowers!

You guys could come over on the ferry after visiting rapunzel47 in Vancouver.

I don't have any date restrictions but I'm in PST so some of you might have to travel at night?

Kim, there is plenty to do around Denver and the mountains. Keystone is always gorgeous! We can coordinate so we aren't taking them to the same places. I think I even took everyone to The Stanley in Estes Park for the night last time!

I was hoping you'd jump in.
We really do need to include that ferry trip.

We don't let time zones worry us too much, although I did find on the first vacation that, with many people in more easterly time zones, the natives got restless if the day's activities weren't under way fairly early. The second time around, I found it useful to put out a teaser, before bed the night before, to keep 'em from self destructing before I managed to wake the birds.

Lots of fun.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Well, I may have to split from my duties as hostess here and there for conference calls, but I'm sure everyone and the kitties would be able to figure out what to do.

Ummm... I see no one has volunteered to host New York yet?
Tickets can be difficult to get, so you'd better let me know now what shows you want to see!

If someone FROM New York city volunteers, we'll go antiquing and horseback riding out here... and we've got a GREAT french restaurant not too far from here that has the MOST unbelievable wine list, so hand the car keys to the kitties!

In fact... since we can do so much in one day, if no one from NY pops along, maybe we spend a day in NY and a day in NW NJ? Lots of beatiful trails to hike before (or after) we go antiquing... ??????

I dunno, some of us got into trouble without the host around.

I seem to recall the kitties tried to take over a performance of CATS.

I have talked to my two and Ari says to heck with thongs, he is going au naturel. Topaz is deciding whether to get a tankini or maillot.

I'm going to have to watch how you do this, and do the same when it's my turn, lol!

The ferry is much better than those tiny Dash-8 planes (I love how the snack is a mint and a tiny bottle of water), although the 10-minute flight is way better than the hours on the ferry if you are in a hurry.

Are you still excepting destinations? If so I wouldn't mind showing off my little slice of heaven. Destin, Florida. Night clubs, beaches, crab island, dolphin cruises. I have all kinds of places we can go.

There's no place like home
I'm game, but does anyone really want to visit the Kansas City area? I do have the party house complete with a pool, hot tub, lake and wet bar. The lake has a small beach (no, it's NOT a litter box). Maybe I can take you to one of the clubs around here, or a side trip to the Lake of the Ozarks area. Whom ever visits will have to tolerate my 3 dogs and all of the neighborhood dogs that like to visit here a lot.

I can't do the last 2 weeks of April - going somewhere on a real vacation during that time. Just don't know exactly where and when yet. If I do end up in Jamaica like I want, would you rather go there?

The beautiful thing about virtual vacations is that you live in virtual time!
We're gonna need it - I've got too many things planned already.

And Amy, because we travel in virtual time, maybe when you're back from your real vacation, you could host one day in KC, and we could all fly to Jamaica for your day two!

I don't think I could be the tour guide, but I would love to participate as a guest and travel around the world with all of you guys! Sounds like lots of fun!

Aw, don't you want to show us Montreal? I've been away a lot of years, and would love to be taken around to things I haven't seen, and back to the places that have been special for more years than either of us can remember. It's not hard. We're just like any other out of town guests, except you don't have to clean the house before we come.

But don't let me pressure you...

You don't have to go take real pictures! Find websites, bookmark the pics, and paste the picture links in here with IMG tags! I've never been to Montreal!

I've already got the trip planned.
...and I'm ready if we need two days out here in NJ if someone else takes NY.

We're definitely working up an appetite - and thank goodness there will be no virtual hangovers! The wine list at the restaurant we're going to in NJ has over 4,000 labels and over 72,000 bottles. The red wine list is 176 pages, and the white wine & champagne list is 125 pages. Even BETTER is that we get to use virtual money to pay for it all!

I couuuld, but I did note participate in the other world tour, so I am afraid I will not do it right!
I guess I will learn from the others! It would have to be in may, june or august, Montreal is a nice place when it is hot and warm.
I am busy in july, but everything else should work.

Oh, goooooody!
don't worry, there's no "right" or "wrong". We just have fun, and you'll get the general idea quickly, I'm sure.

YAY we're going to Montreal!

BTW - why are we limited to showing off something near us? What about a world tour that includes people taking us to places they'd want to go? I'd love to go to Egypt - but I don't think we have any members that'll be taking us there....

I just copied from the original thread post of somewhere within 2 hours, I don't see why we can't add random places, I have some beautiful pics of the Greek Islands, Poland and other places I have been
