I know this is probably a long shot but....
I have started living with my parents again (only temporary) and my Dad is complaining about the smell of Tessie's wet food and does not want the smell in the house. I must be so use to it because I really do not think it smells that bad (Wellness and Natural Balance grain free).
Do you know of any wet foods that do not have a strong odor? I finally got her to eat some wet food and would hate to stop feeding it to her.
Thanks!!!

How strange. Jennie eats Wellness grain free, chicken, turkey and beef, and I cannot smell any of them. And I have ultra sensitive sense of smell.

And even if it does smell, to him, how long does it last, five minutes? Give him a mask for the duration.

Sounds like your father is just looking for something to complain about. Can you feed Tessa somewhere your father isn't, like in your room, so he is not exposed to it?

ya, he just hates that I am there right now and is probably looking for something to complain about (mom loves that I'm there though
). I feed her in my bedroom now but I prepare it in the kitchen since I add water to the wet food.

Well.....I guess you could take a little pitcher of warm water and the can with you into your room to prepare the food.

"See dad? I'm doing all I can to prevent the smell of the food from bothering you!"

Or prepare it in the restroom. I always notice that restrm faucet water warms faster than kitchen sink. My bf use to say the same thing about the smell, but he eventually got use to it. Good luck

My apartment is just the opposite! The hot water takes (maddeningly)forever to make it to the bathroom faucet, but comes quickly to the kitchen. Depends on how far the hot water has to travel.
