I have a cat I rescued from a parking lot 1 month ago, and she is preggo, which I noticed a couple weeks ago. Im sure she is due anytime, from all the nesting I have noticed. My question is : Im new to this, so please forgive me, but she is having a watery, bloody discharge from her vagina. Is this normal, her bloody show ? Is is not flowing heavily, just like a discharge. My vet doesnt open till 9 am, and the emergency clinic is an hour away from where I live..Tell me if this is ok to wait till my vet opens, or should we get on the road to the emergency clinic?? Thanks for your time

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This is probably a sign that she's going into labour. Keep a close watch on her- as long as there isn't too much blood, don't worry yet
Good luck, keep us updated!

Thanks so much....all is well, for now. Her discharge has changed to a watery-like blood tinge. So Im guessing too, that her labour is starting. I hope I can do this...I will update when we have news.

I was right there, by her side the whole time. The first kitten was breech, and I had to actually help deliver it, sadly to say, it was very premature, and stillborn. She had a second one, same thing, stillborn. She is resting right now, Ive cleaned her up, and she ate a whole can of cat food. I'm calling my vet in the morning, to see about bringing her in to be checked out. She did deliver a third, but it was only placenta and a sack with fluid in it, so I want to make sure there is not another kitten in there, but I dont feel a thing...I will update later in the week. Thanks for replying.

I'm sorry for your loss
The same thing happened to me with a young foster- your kitty was probably too young, and got pregnant on her first heat cycle. It was good of you to have been there with her through it

Hi and thanks ! I must say, this has been the strangest cat pregnancy Ive seen in all my years of life. Started out on last Mon delivering 2 very premature stillborn kittens, then on Friday, another one, again stillborn, but nearly full term, and again on Sat, a very premature kitten. I did take her to vet on Friday, and was told there are many reasons cats miscarry, but it was their way of passing a possible kitten with problems. I was told to watch her,and if she miscarries, check to make sure all is passed, which it was, and check her temp, and should it rise, to bring her in. So far so good, no fever, shes eating well, and using cat box. I have never seen anything like this before. Thanks again

I'm glad to help
My guess is her body just wasn't prepared for kittens
Once she gets a bit more strength, you may want to consider getting spayed so that she doesn't have to go through with that again
