I spent the day with Brighton today. Grandpa and I drove up to St. Johns to watch him while his Mommies went to see Alice In Wonderland. Had a totally awesome time! Got him to laugh and it was music to my ears. Loved watching him get so excited playing, with his little coos and a few squeals. He had lots of smiles for Grammy and Grandpa. He does NOT like to sleep, fights it with everything he's got. I did finally get him to sleep by walking and rocking him while standing and then he slept on my shoulder. It felt soooooo good!!!! I swear...having a grandchild is so wonderful, it's magic. We live 60 miles away but they send me pictures everyday and videos quite often, so I get to see him every day through the wonders of technology!
In two weeks we are going to the beach house and we get to spend a 3-day week-end with him and his Mommies!
