Over the river and through the woods...
I haven't been on much lately because things have just been crazy here, but since I posted a few weeks ago about being pregnant I figured I'd update everyone. It was confirmed on Friday via blood tests that I miscarried last week. Although, I kinda knew Wednesday morning that something was wrong. It's funny how fast life changes. Two weeks ago I was freaking because I was, now I'm devastated because I'm not anymore. We didn't even realize we wanted a baby until this happened and we got used to the idea....

On the bright side, at least now we know we CAN get pregnant so we're going to keep trying at least through the summer. If it happens, wonderful! If not then it wasn't meant to be.

Just wanted to let everyone know and to thank everyone for all the great advice and support.

Sorry to hear this bitter-sweet news. It always happens that we don't want something till we know we can't have it. Whatever happens this summer preggers or not, hope you will be happy.

Lots of virtual hugs! Unfortunately miscarriage in the first trimester is common, quite a few of my friends have gone through this...but knowing that is common doesn't make it any less painful and surely doesn't lessen your grief
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, but the good news is that you know you can get pregnant! Fingers crossed that this happens for you again soon

I'm so sorry to hear this.
I hope you'll be pregnant again soon and holding your sweet baby before you know it. And I know it doesn't help much to hear it; but I also know several people who had early miscarriages and now have several children. *hugs*

Oh, and when you do get preggy again, my experience was that I didn't stop worrying about loosing my baby till she was here! And now there's all new kinds of worries.

Thank you everyone. It was heartbreaking, but we're dealing with it ok now. Honestly, this wasn't the best time financially and maybe God realized that (yeah, we're trying to rationalize it). But we both believe things happen for a reason even if we don't understand it right now. We are going to keep trying, so keep your fingers crossed!

I was devistated when I lost my sons twin. And then I sat down and thought/prayed about it.My thoughts were that God knew that I couldn't care for 3 kids on my own,and that for some reason he needed an extra Angel in Heaven...and used my body to carry it until he wanted it home with him.
I'm not saying the pain ever goes away 100%, but as time goes by,it does get easier.
HUGS hon!!

You have such an amazing outlook on life, its very admirable
Like you said, if it happens or not, thats what is meant to be. I can't agree more.
