I Opened My Christmas Presents Today

My daughter had surgery on the 18th of December. We didn't get to have any time together for Christmas. She finally was well enough to want to spend some time with us and we did that today. It was a special day for her and for us. The presents were not the important thing. I just wanted to see her, put my arms around her and tell her I loved her. I finally got chance to do that. She has been through alot.

Thanks for the kind words. This is her second bout with cancer and she is 47 years old. Her first cancer experience, she was 33. We have a lot to be thankful for. It was a wonderful day.
