Red spot on ear

Not sure what this is? She's had it for about two days. The spot is darker red in person but here are a couple of pics i got while she was busy looking at the birds:

A bruise maybe? I assume she either plays rough or had a good scratch at her ear and bruised it. As long as it's just a spot with no swelling and no heat or redness in the rest of the ear I would wait and see how it looks in a couple days. It hasn't gotten larger since you first noticed it, has it?

I dont think so but I'll monitor that as well. She is a rough player or like you said maybe scratched too hard. She likes to run around our little apt. in spaz mode and she isn't the most graceful kittie either so...

looks like a broken blood vessel to me, probably nothing serious. i would just keep an eye on it to be sure it improves.
