My cat likes to look out the window when i get home and watch teh birds,it looks like she is staring at the sun which is right by the birds, can this damage her eyes? should i leave the shades shut till dark? Maybe im just paranoid but i dont want her to go blind.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

You have asked an important question.
The sun's rays, that cause damage on humans, can do the same on cats.
I monitor the amount of time (I keep it short) that my kitties sit in the window, when the sun is directly shining on them.
The rest of the time, they enjoy their window views as long as they want.
Some people use sun screen on their kitties vulnerable areas such ears, nose etc.
I don't what my kitties to lick sun screen, so we pass.
Spring is almost here.

I wouldn't worry too much. While cat food does have a vitamin D3 supplement added, cats could use a little real sunlight regularly.
If you're concerned you could try setting up a window for them that has a different exposure. Eastern or southern that gets shaded halfway through the day (afternoon).
My kitchen window is like that due to the front porch. They can get sun earlier in the day, but afternoon puts a shadow over the window.
