Has anyone here ever used floral spray paint on 'silk' flowers? The only flowers I could find are a stark white, and I'd really like to tone them down a bit to more of a creamy color. I'm assuming I can find a floral spray paint in close to the color I want. If I can't, has anyone ever used actual dye (such as Rit) to dye flowers?

My mom used a spray she found at the craft store to turn a white calla lily (with this neon cheese curl orange center) to an ivory flower (and it toned down that orange). I just wished I remembered the exact product. Maybe a store clerk could guide you.

I've seen this product in stores, but have never used it. Was your Mom happy with the results?

Yes, the one she used gave her the results she wanted and she used other colors on silk flowers. (Then again, part of it may have been my mother's talent as she originally trained to be a florist.)

Whatever you try, I wish you luck!
