hi everyone! i'm new to this site and i just wanted to say hi. i have two cats left. one Darth Vader who i found outside of a pleasant grove (there is nothing pleasant about pleasant grove... it's the ghetto) gas station/convenience store on my birthday, and then i still also have the Dutchess Trillian Ophelia Medusa squeakie "sweetpaws" Greyfur-McTabby of Frankford. we all call her squeakie for short. she's my little girl. i love her very much. she was very close to my other cat Luke Skywalker who was killed in October, very likely by coyotes. the two were best friends and would play all day long. i love Luke very much. he was the sweetest animal. so gentle and so loving. he was a big white cat, with roasted marshmallow points on his ears, cappuccino milk foam stains on his back and a caramel swirl/ring tail. i miss him very very much. i now try to take care of and show as much love as possible to the two cats that are still with us.

Welcome to TCS!

We actually have a pretty good contingent of Dallas area members. We even had a big get-together a while back.

So sorry about Luke. Have you visited our "Crossing the Bridge" section of the forum?

thank you everyone! thank you for such a warm welcome and for your condolences. i don't think i meant to go off on that tangent when i began writing that introduction thread. i would like very much to make the acquaintance of other cat lovers here in dallas and elsewhere. i'm very glad to have found this site and look forward to sharing and learning information about loving and caring for the little animals that own my heart. i will also like very much to make friends with other people as i find myself very alone and i'm trying to remedy this problem by involving myself in positive and healthy activities.

Hello and welcome. I am sorry for the loss of Luke. I love how you named your cats. My huband is a big Star Wars fan too. You will enjoy this board. People are very nice and willing to help. Have fun here.
