My grandad passed away this morning

Ashley, I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad your grandfather is no longer in pain. My parents will be married 60 years this June. It's really hard to imagine one of them without the other. I'm keeping your grandmother in my prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It helped me to know my mom was at peace and out of pain when she passed from cancer. I hope that comforts you as well.

Ashley, count me among those offering their condolences for the loss of your granddad....I lost mine two years ago, and I know that even though it wasn't unexpected, it still hurts to know they're gone....but at least now he's not suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Thank you all so much, i dont think ive dealt with it yet but i know that will happen what i was expecting was when i was in my staff meeting tonight and the boss asked if anyone could cover my shift as i had to go to my grandads funeral, i wasnt expecting that and caught me offguard which kinda really upset me
