Uh, why hello there!

:3 Hi. I'm new, and really am horrific at introductions. I'm also kind of shy, so let me introduce my four kitties and my mutt.

Sassy ~ My old girl, we think she must be 14-16ish now. She's a cat my Dad brought home one night, to stop her being put to sleep. Mum naturally had a fit, at the time. Of course, she makes up for it - being the snuggliest cat you ever did meet.

Spooky ~ The second oldest, he's 8-9 years old, and the perfect poster child for why you should neuter your cats & keep them inside. He got lost, and had his tail mangled - we actually thought he was another cat we found on the road. Imagine my shock when he turned up at 3am, a week later! Such a miracle, really - especially that he adores his cuddles and family.

Maggie ~ The grumpy Apple of my eye. I saw her at a rescue home in 2002/3 and instantly clicked with her. She was basically a feral kitten, but we've barely ever been apart since. She is a big reason why I got through the last eight years.

Corki & Spud (the Mutt) ~ Back in last April, I was playing WoW... and my Dad pops this gorgeous little hell-demon into my lap. Long story short, a family friend decided she didn't want Corki after all, so we kept her. She adores my dog, and ambushing you for affection in the bathroom.

That ended up.. way longer than expected, heh.

Welcome to TCS! Thank you for sharing your beautiful furbabies with us, and their stories!

You must have been devastated when you thought the dead kitty was your Spooky, I can imagine the joy you felt when he found his way home. Did he have his tail amputated?

>:3

Yeah, it was absolutely awful. I still really regret that we couldn't find the dead cats owner, but yeah. Poor thing. It's always heartbreaking to find a dead animal.

Well, at first it was like... "OMG, MUM, SPOOKY CAME BACK AS A ZOMBIE WHAT THE HELL!". Definitely joy after the initial shock though, but we tried to save his tail at first with cream, bandages and anti-biotics. Eventually it needed to be amputated.

Sadly, my parents still don't get why you should keep pets inside. ><

Welcome to TCS! This is a great place and we're glad you found us!

Your kitties are adorable. Sassy is quite the beauty. I love how her tail is curled in the pic you shared -- she looks very regal, but also sweet. And, what an amazing story you have there with Spooky! Thank goodness he came home though its quite sad that the other kitty's owners were never found. Maggie looks to be extremely snuggly and Corki and Spud appear to be best friends! You've got quite the family there and it's obvious that you adore them.

TCS has been a wonderful place for me and I hope you find it to be the same. Please continue to share stories and pictures of your furry family (did I mention we love pics?!) and just have fun getting to know us all. I know I'll enjoy getting to know you better in time !
