Hey everbody! Hope you have all been well and healthy!
Just wanted to share some pics of Alley(the alley cat!) in her (pretty much)full grown state.We are doing fine and Alley has grown up to be my spoiled lil girl.Even though she is my first ever feline I feel like I`m kind of an experienced cat person now(sure that will change!).She is a dream pet...no COMPANION...and we have both learned a lot about each other.I love my girl and have learned to respect her as an individual and don`t try to CATagorize her anymore(sorry!) :P
I feel very blessed that she has been healthy and good natured in all aspects of catdom.I can not complain(other than she is an occassional leg attacker)at all.She`s my buddy! Love this site and wanted to say "thanks!" to all the members who have given me good advice and information(as well as sharing some wonderful stories!).

and how they would describe their cats not as pets but as family members and/or friends. Alley has grown up healthy,strong and (by and large) with no behavior or other problems.I feel pretty lucky on that count.They really do have their own individual personalities and characters don`t they?My "silly gurl" is loving but not an extreme cuddler.She does sit on my lap for petting or just to snooze sometimes(this is getting more frequent the older she gets)and will generally follow me around.
I know Alley has a very good life with me but I can`t help feeling bad for her because we both live in a smaller 1 bedroom duplex. If I could afford it I would live in a larger place and also rescue another cat to give my Alley a playmate.Oh well,some day.
