Vibes needed for a good rescue

I have been working on getting a cat our of our local domestic animal control for about a week now. I was finally able to get a hold of the right person today. Things look good that this male cat is going to end up in our care, but I am just hoping something doesn't go awry. He doesn't have a name yet, but I know what I want to name him. I know the rescues from A.C. are difficult because of all those that can not be saved. I have to say this is only my 2nd experience with them and so far it both have been good experiences. I will worry about this boy until he is in a cage in our shelter, so please send lots of sucessfull rescue vibes for him.

Many vibes, when are you getting him?
I always pulled ASAP when we got their agreement - actually I used to get a number of cats we could pull from our shelter and go to animal control and choose them there so I had them within seconds of my decisions

A volunteer is on her way to go get him. It was easy enough, the only bad thing was that they are going to charge us $35 to get him out because we had contact with the woman who started this whole process. I guess I will have to ask her if she can make a donation to off-set the cost. I will be calling her tonight.

We usually don't have to pay either, but I think in this case because we were in contact with someone who originally said they wanted to adopt him, but didn't really want to, they feel that we should pay for some of the cost.

Well we picked him up yesterday & his name is now Noah (looks like Jordan & Noah is Jordan's middle name). He is rather crabby, but I am sure he will calm down in time.
