Hope was found dead in her place March 17th 2009 for anyone that does not know that.
It was estimated she died March 15th from a Heart Attack.
She has been missed by all of us.
One of her last posts was to me about Cleo because someone had said something about her at the vets.
We had planned on meeting at a cat show in So Cal but Hope died before we ever got the chance to meet.
I am so glad her cats went to good home.
We all were so worried they would not get homes and the missing one would not be found.
I still miss her and will never forget her.

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I still remember sitting in the conservatory when i saw it
It was a lovely sunny day so i thought i would sit in there and go on the laptop for an hour. At first i thought it was a friend of mine when i saw "RIP Hope" at the side because she was going through a rough time with depression, so it was an even bigger shock when i saw it was Hope Hacker

RIP Hope

Hope did my signature in 2005 for me when I first came to this forum. It was the year my black tuxedo cat, Max, died. He was my soulmate cat and Hope was very supportive and sweet to me in helping me with the siggy and encouraging me at the time. I know she must have had a heart of gold because so much is written of her here on this site. She certainly left a legacy of friends here who loved her very much. Rest in peace Hope. You are sorely missed by your Cat Site friends.

I believe it was determined that he was taken in by a neighbor or something.

Hard to believe it has been a year. Its nice though, seeing the sigs she made all over the site when you open up random threads. She will always live on with TCS

Here... or There... Hmmm
I miss her too and still do think of her on a regular basis. Even my DH (who does not come on here) knows who I am talking about when I speak of her. He knows a lot of you!
She is greatly missed!

I think of her quite often...her Facebook page is still up and I drop in on it every once in a while. It seems like just yesterday I heard the news. Can't see Paul Stanley without her popping into my head.

Still thinking of you, girl.

Unfortunately Hope's bengal, Simba was never found. None of her apartment complex neighbors ever came foward saying they had him. Those of us involved in rescuing Hope's other 3 cats, speculate that he may have darted out of her apartment door into the hallway and it is hoped that he found a kind neighbor to take him in.
It's very unlikely that we will ever find out what became of Simba, but we do know that her other 3 cats are all in loving forever homes.

RIP Hope

Really, I remember reading that Simba was with the relative of a neighbor. The thread was locked soon after.

Hope has been on my mind as well, coming up to the anniversary.

I am not often on-line, but thought I would pop by to pay my respects and to remember Hope as one of the most generous and kind hearted women I have ever had the honour of 'meeting'.

RIP Hope, you are loved and missed by all

Not to my knowledge. Hope's family members, whom I spoke to on quite a few occasions during the ordeal to track down her cats had no clue where Simba was. He was never located.
Susan and I pressed them very hard about him, as I wanted him sent to me along with Angel, her other bengal.

If I'm missing some piece of the puzzle, I would be happy to be wrong.

Phew!
I was worried that I'd made up a happy ending!
I looked for the thread and found it. It's in Post #62.
