I am feeding Blue kitten to my kitten Peyton, I was wondering if any of you had any opinions on this food or if anyone has had any trouble with it. Peyton is a little over 5 months old, I just adopted him on Friday from the shelter here. He seems to be doing rather well with it, and seems to like it quite a bit!

IMHO Blue is a solid food that like many other "holistic" types is grain and carb heavy.... Good food yes for the $$ decent

yep, I agree!

Longevity has 200 calories less per cup though so they are different at least, unlike some companies that make new packaging and one different ingredient and give it a new name

hey guys sorry, its the blue spa(kitten in pink bag) mixed with blue in a light blue/green bag kitten. We buy it two to three times a month depending on how they are eating, I bought more than I needed to start with when we got Peyton and bought another small bag when we got Phoenix.

I think Id prefer a fish based food, and calories in the middle for now depending upon how they do with weight gain. Phoenix is tiny right now, but Peyton seems to be putting on weight well. I know you have a color coded ingredient chart somewhere if I remember correctly but I can't seem to find it, could you give me the link to it, please? Thank you so much I really appreciate all the help!!!

thank you so much, I have no idea what to put them on, I'm near chicago, and have quite a selection in food stores. I work for petsmart, and have the selection they have there readily available. Today I found Avoderm Naturals for Kittens, and thought about getting it, but it seems to have a lot of grain in it. I am completely lost here.
