Since we are celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Wed, my question pertains to that.

Do you do anything special on St. Patty's Day, do you go to a local parade, do you cook a special meal such as corn beef and cabbage with soda bread.

I really don't celebrate this holiday at all, I did wear a bit of green when I was working tho.

I do not celebrate at all. I don't like corn beef and cabbage or soda bread, it's just another day to me.

No we don't do anything either. When we were younger it was an excuse to party but now it doesn't really mean anything. I am making cabbage today though, and I do like corn beef!

Let's see---I have an Irish themed flag flying by the front door, an Irish windsock by the back door, and a small Irish garden flag in the back yard. I have a large light-up Shamrock in both a front and back window, and green lights and garland around the front door. There's an Irish wreath hanging in the kitchen.
Can you tell I like St. Patrick's Day?

I tried a sample of soda bread for the first time last week at a local bakery. I might go back to buy a loaf, or try making it on my own. Hate corned beef, so that's out of the question. Don't really know what I'll cook that day.

I'm of Irish heritage, but I intensely dislike corned beef, I detest cabbage (even the smell makes me nauseous), and I think Guinness is poison...so.....I'm wearing green on Wednesday and calling it good.

I don't celebrate, but I have to work that day so I will probably wear something we sell at work. I am making corned beef and cabbage for dinner tonight.

I don't have any Irish in me either, I'm all Italian and that's why I don't celebrate it either. For those Irish among us, I do hope you enjoy the day next Wed.

If I remember in time, I'll find some green to wear, but the world will not come to an end if that doesn't happen. Other than that, we do not observe the day.

I'm part Irish (on my mom's side).I usually celebrate by going to Beale Street with some friends and getting dinner at Silky o'Sullivans. This year I will have clinicals at the hospital that night, so I'll have to celebrate another time! I will definitely make sure to wear something green though so I don't get pinched!
