hello, i have a 10 month old kitten that just gave birth to 4 kittens ( before anyone starting yelling i always get my pets fixed she was quiccker then me ) it kills me that she is going thru this soooo young. she did great with birth and is caring well for the babies. i have 3 dog 3 cats and 2 birds. im worried how they will act with babies. i set them up in bathroom with soft box food and mom kitty liter and when i'm busy or sleeping i lock them in there. she seems to want to be able to leave the kittens when she can so i will move the box around the house with me so she can do what is want and i know the others are getting the babies. but now she is trying to move the kittens and wants them under my bed WHERE THEY ARE NOT SAFE FROM THE OTHERS. she is very upset and i'm lost as to what to do. i tried using other box and dog crate shes still not happy. help pleaseeeeeeeeeee

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Welcome to the Forum!
Congrats on the lucky delivery, and the young mom knowing what to do.
Moms moving around the babies is rather common. Not always into the most suitable places...
When the mom is there she can probably defend them if need be.
Your problem is, what happens if she takes a walk, and they are unsafe under your bed.
Perhaps have the dog crate handy nearby, with their bedding etc. If mom is taking her walks, set the babies into the crate. So they will be safe.
Another option is to close in the others.
How are the others, the dogs and the cats? IF they are friendly, and especielly friendly with the mom, the danger is perhaps not so great??
Im not saying everything is fine, but there are GREAT dangers, and there are dangers you can calcultate with and accept, with close observations and watch the first times they meet...
Of course, IF you let the others meet the kittens, the mom must approve it and accept. Dont do it if the mom is stressed or hostile.
IF you do it, one animal visiting at a time, so the mom is unstressed and can watch.
Good luck!

Thank you i guess whats bothering me most is how upset she seems to be. when shes moving them she seems frantic. funny thing is i'm most worried what my grey will do with them lol. i did let the others see kittens when they where first born. the dogs and cat seem to know that they aren't theirs and keep away.. but my grey is nuts about the cats and i don't thinkshe will see the babies different

Congrats on the babies!
I'd suggest maybe keeping Mom in a seperate room from all of your other animals, at least until her babies are a bit bigger. This will help her relax a bit, and keep the babies safe, just incase anyhing were to happen
